My favorite/ most successful project this semester would have to be the butterfly effect, because I thought that the picture came out really nice and clear, and that the final outcome was really cool looking. I was proud to have been able to learn how to do that, and be happy with my work. However my overall favorite project would have to be the gradient painting, because I love hands on activities and painting. It was a long process and I wasn't really happy with my final outcome, but I really enjoyed taking the picture, editing it to our liking then tracing and painting it.
I learned the most from was the photographer project. I enjoyed this project because we got to actually explore the photographer and know all about them and why they took the pictures they took, and I thought that was really fascinating. I also loved the movie that we watched about Vivian Maier. It taught me that depending on who you are is how you will take your own pictures in all different types of ways and using different equipment etc…
For the 12 days of christmas project I had a lot of knowledge from last years class in art design. Having the knowledge of how to use photoshop enabled me to know what to do for the future photoshopped projects. This helped me as a photographer because I had inside knowledge before hand.
The selfie project, which was also one of my favorite projects because I got to put in pictures of all the things that I loved. The final outcome was really pretty and I loved it. I think this project reflects me as an artist because, I put everything that I loved and cared about in a picture. It also reflects me as an artist because the pictures I put into the project were obviously pictures that I had taken, and usually if you take a picture it means you want to remember that moment and just the things you take pictures of in general represent what kind of a photographer you are. I had a personal connection with this project again, because it was everything that I loved. My personal feedback is that I enjoyed the class with you Chags! I learned alot. I would say maybe more hands on kind of photography because that is always very fun! Thank You!
