Here is a collage of my everyday life. I took 10 photos, the sunset, hayden, me and kelly falling and looking semi okay, the boat, my breakfast, a bj wrap, a pizza, a truck and my cat Roger. I first had to use the eraser tool so that i could just get the little picture or a certain part instead of the whole photo. I used the sunset as my back round and for everything else I just placed it where ever and changed the opacity so that it would blend in more with the back round.
This is my lantern, i made it using straight lines to make triangles and then i used curved lines (which are very difficult to cut). I actually dont even like how it came out i wish i used just straight lines and had bigger cuts so that more light could come through. For photographing it, i had the lights off and i put my phones flashlight in the center of the lantern to make a better affect of the light coming out of it. There was a black piece of construction paper to make the effect look more detailed. For my photo I chose a dragonfly. The first picture that I have represents Non-objective. Non-Objective means nothing from reality, and make it completely different from your original photo it is the opposite of abstract. Abstract means that it shows lines, shapes and colors that transform the object. And my second photo represents abstract. My third photo is just my realistic photo.
The depth of field is the distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera. Aperture relates to depth of field because there is usually a gap between the items in your picture. Some ways that I used depth of field in my pictures is that my red blocks show that is is close to the camera and then far away. As well as the lockers, one is closet to the camera and one is far away and lastly the picture indicates the side walk being close but getting far away.
This meme was done by Kelly, Randi and I.This photo is actually showing construction workers eating their lunch on a sky scraper beam, suspended up high in Manhattan.
This is a picture of my cat, and you can clearly see the cat but you can see the shadow too, and the shadow to the cord as well. I used a flashlight to make the shadow.
There are 7 genres. The first one is art and any picture can be put in the genre of art. The next genre is Photography and War and this is meant to be dramatic most of the time, and resemble life and death. Digital Truth is to make people wonder. If the picture is actually true or not. Presidential Image-Making has to do with political biography and beliefs. Advertising and Persuasion is about things you see everyday, to get you to want something or want to do something. Social Change is showing the world a problem and convincing people to want to find a solution. Lastly Cultural Identity, which is pictures that make you ask yourself.. who is that? Where and and how are they shown? For what purpose are they being photographed for? The picture i chose fits into the genre of art.
